TAMISEMI Announces 1,500 Volunteer Teaching Positions – January 2026
The President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI) has announced 1,500 volunteer teaching positions for teachers specializing in Business Studies, Vocational subjects, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.

General Requirements for Applicants
Applicants for these volunteer teaching positions must meet the following conditions:
1. Must be not older than 43 years
2. Must be a citizen of Tanzania
3. Must have a birth certificate
4. Must possess professional certificates relevant to the advertised subjects under the 1,500 positions
5. Must not be employed by the Government
6. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must have an equivalent number starting with the letters “EQ”
7. All applicants must attach all required documents through the online application system
Important Information for Applicants
The Ministry of Education officially released this volunteer teaching opportunity for government schools on 14 January 2026.
The deadline for submitting applications is 28 January 2026.
All applicants are strongly advised to attach genuine academic and professional certificates. Any applicant found to have submitted forged or fake certificates will face legal action.
